To avoid possible scalding, maximum water temperature does not exceed 120° F
Complies with the following standards:
ADA Compliant · ASME A112.18/CSA B125.1 · California AB1953/Vermont S152 · ANSI/NSF 61-9 · ASSE 1070 · Meets Water Sense Standards · Meets CAL Green standards · Zero Touch™ · Blue Ocean Technology™ · PVD Finish
According to the ADA, faucet must be operable with one hand, without tight grasping or twisting, and should be activated using a maximum of five pounds of force. Lever, paddle and infrared faucet controls all make turning the water on and off easy for anyone with a disability. Lever-handle faucets are helpful when only one hand can be used. Infrared-controlled and capacitive-sensor controlled faucets are the most universal, offering user’s touch-free, easy activation.
This standard establishes general performance requirements. It includes temperature, pressure, strength, handle security, valve operating, flow capacity, life, high temperature extreme, and intermittent shock test.
This standard establishes minimum health effects required for the chemical contaminants and impurities that may be indirectly imparted to drinking water.
We are the only faucet manufacturer in the world with a built-in anti-scalding safety device certified with ASSE 1070. The Universal Plumbing Code states the following: "Hot water delivered from public-use lavatories shall be limited to a maximum temperature of 120° F (49° C) by a device that is in accordance with ASSE 1070 or CSA B 125.3. The water heater shall not be considered a control for meeting this provision."
This standard phases out lead from brass plumbing products that convey drinking water. The lead content must be less than 0.25% to be sold in California and Vermont.
Water Sense labeled products are backed by independent third party testing and certification, and meet EPA’s specifications for water efficiency and performance. When you use Water Sense labeled products in your home or business, you can expect exceptional performance, savings on your water bills, and assurance that you are saving water for future generations.
Water Efficient standards require kitchen faucet flow rate of 1.8 GPM or 1.5 GPM and lavatory faucet flow rate of 1.5 GPM.
· Automatic water activation · Continuous water flow · Water temperature & water flow adjustment · Disable/Enable automatic water activation. These digital products are easy to use, help eliminate cross contamination and conserve water.
· All the moving parts are centralized into one control module. · The control module is universal and works for all Muirsis faucets. · The moving parts were also reduced to a minimum. This new technology helps to minimize the environmental impact of faucet production by eliminating the molding and casting process for many different parts altogether. Our goal was to minimize the amount of parts and maximize the performance of our faucets.
